I'm looking for a LH torsion bar for a 1968 Barracuda FB with a 383 (originally 318).

Thank in advance!

Do yourself a favor and buy a pair of new 1.04" torsion bars for that application.
The only ones I've found are $300 from Mancini. Is that the going average?

I appreciate your input! I'm assuming that's based on your personal experience?

Try PST too. There may be others, I haven't looked lately. Big blocks need all the extra handling improvements you can make.

I decided to upgrade some suspension (shocks) on my 65 A Body so got to looking around & selection somewhat limited the QA1 stuff is cool but too much $ I've known about Firm Feel so looked more at their stuff, now I love supporting the local folks & these people are in my back yard (I live in Portland Or) & there just across river in Vancouver Wa so found a set of Bilstein's but also got some great advice from Dick Moss & went with upper arms also. Drove over to pick up arms & met his son Mat & got a tour of the shop, not huge but very clean & organized (love the smell of cutting oil) I was very impressed with how old school & friendly & knowledgeable Mat was. All the parts are built (except shocks) in house it's nice to buy parts built in the US with such old school craftmanship pride. So, if you're looking to upgrade suspension & not sure give these folks look.

After getting into the suspension, I'm realizing that it's going to need a rebuild at the least. I appreciate your sharing this and I've made a not to check into Firm Feel. Thanks Skid!
