my dad gave me this car to try and sell. im tired of it sitting in my driveway.
its a 1968 4-door dart. 273 hi-po, edelbrock intake, edelbrock 4-barrel carb, dual exhaust.
original 273 v-8 car.
factory a/c car.
i also have the originaly paperwork, original title, original dealer invoice. and all maitnance paperwork from new until about mid 1980's
dash pad is spotless
newer master cylinder
if you notice in the engine bay pic, there is no washer fluid resivoir, but i recently replaced it with a brand new n.o.s. resivoir
here is the story.
my dad bought this car about 7 years ago with a blown motor. the motor was replaced with a 273 hi-po out of a '66 barracuda. i am also told there might be a few things internal done to the motor besides the cam, but i cant validate this.
the a/c components under the hood we removed at some point, but the vents and everything in the car are still there.
interior is in great shape besides some holes in the headliner and a rip in the drivers seat bottom.
the body is in pretty good shape but there are a few waves in the front drivers fender. and the fender trim is not on it, but it is in the trunk.
no rust on the fenders or 1/4 panels....the only rust i noticed was a spot about 1 inch in diameter in the trunk behind the passenger tail light and a surface rust spot below the rear window.
as the car sits right now it needs:
a power steering pump and the brackets to hold the pump to the engine.
there is a little clunk that comes from the steering sumwhere when you turn the wheel.
could use some slight tuning and a new set of tires
electric choke isnt hooked up and i dont know if it works
stock a/m radio isnt installed, but is also in the trunk
i also have the original spare tire
also needs a battery, but i should have one soon
any question or for more pics, please ask
this would be a great sleeper car
