Congrats on the little guy! Who needs a gas gauge? I just drive it like a motorcycle, fill up before you need to!

Haha I’m just too picky. It’s a 20 gal tank. And I have a 5 gal jug.

Ssssooooo if all I do is put in 5 gal in my 20 gal tank it should read 1/4 tank..... but it never does. Still shows empty.

Going up the road for a meet or ice cream I’m sweating bullets because all I stare at is that letter E.

Well my hat finally showed up. 3 months later. The guy at Fox injection is a nice did but he’s a one man show so it took forever.

I’m dissapointed on what I got. Two of the blanks are cracked and the tps was smashed, and is some wierd British make, the butterfly’s were hard to move.

For why I spent I was not impressed.

But most of it bubbs and fixed.

Only thing that really made me mad was that he was going to swap out the 60 lb injectors for 80’s..... yea that never happend!!!

Sucks to hear that bud. The hat appears to look nice!

The hat was set up for a dead head system. Mechanical fuel injection can get away with it but ALL the EFI threads and builders say not to. Sooooo a big *** drill bit and tap ...

Tada. Distribution block becomes fuel rail.

Now just need orb fittings

dchevy motor in a fuel car ? will be an also ran----no wonder its in carshows.

Haha it may have a chevy sticker on it, but make no mistake, it a chrysler hemi.
Cant really tell, pic is dark. Bbut the plug wires don't seem to be in the right place, for a gen 2 , or gen 3 hemi, or even a ptostock type block ! Does have the dist. in the right place after looking again.

Yea, the lighting under the body is crap. Those things that look like valve covers, with the chevy stickers, they are just massive clamps that hold the plug wires down. The top of the wires have these big t handles so you can get a grip on them with your fingers, like the charge handle on a AR style Rifle .

IMO, Still based on the 66 thru 71 Stage II Hemi.....but an aftermarket mega HP version. I doubt if there are actual Mopar pieces on any Mopar TF /FC race cars.

calling it a Chebbie is all about the body.....and the Benjamins.

Your 100% right! I would give my left nut to put a hemi in my car but they are waaaayyy to expensive, or a nightmare to install. My H code car K member is unique and needs a special driver mount and engine block with correct bosses to fit.

Ive looked at your k members before. And i go back and forth about getting one with a longblock oorrr just doing the stage V conversion.

Maybe a future father sone project, for now i'll focus on My holley EFI

New plugs came in. One is driller wierd but W.e. I’m don’t dealing whil those retards. So day if I get bored and anal I’ll sand it all smooth. But at least I can put it all togeather now

Getting him addicted to horsepower early! It fits fine. Bbuuttt I need studs. There’s no way to put a bolt in the hat. Bummer

New pressure regulator. Fits in the same spot that the old one was. Nice! Because it’s so much bigger then the last.

Also got a restraint per the nhra rulebook. It was also super easy to install. Just drill holes in the padded for where they need to sit. I got a set with adjustable straps because I did not know where to measure.

They are super long but fit when I double them over. I guess it will be that much stronger.

Needed to make a bracket to put the fuel pump in the spot of the old one. A little bending. Welding. And paint. And it almost looks like I knew what I was doing

There’s a large post filter that need to be installed for the efi. So I needed to make a bracket for that. Welded that to the wheel well frame and installed that too.

I had a 13” Long pice of hose so thats just where it all lined up.

Well that’s the new fuel system. Well the major stuff anyway.

Just need to plum the return to the tank and the hat.

Well got the return hose done. Jegs said that this hose can’t be dunked in fuel the way I’m using it. I said eehhhhhh it’s a whopping 8” plus what is it going to do leak in the tank? It’s easy to replace.

But it was easy to run it along with all the other hoses in there.

But I wrecked 3 effing hose ends on the pressure side. No idea wtf I did or what’s going on but... 3 more are on way so it’s all good.
