$1000+, ouch! I am glad it is less than $50 here.

yeah iowa is one of the hardest places to get one 600 alone for the bond then
the inspection fees later on and other flim flam. for the bond they take 50%
sales tax of what you bought the car for (or what they feel its worth i should
have had the previous owner put $100 on the bill of sale) and they add it up to
get the price. 400 for the car 50% sales tax 200= 600 for the bond. :banghead:

I have followed this discussion and I would be glad if the car could be saved and the new owner restored it back to stock condition. I think this car deserves to be restored to stock specs due to it's rarity. But that's just my two cent!

no doubt i have the same feeling other wise i would have been all over the front
clip and seat tracks. being a mod top it needs to keep its place in history.

Are you going to cut up the car?I could use a door jam area"where the door bolts to the shell" pass side.I could give you pictures .Let me know.I also sent you a PM.Thanks Tom

if anyone would like to buy it as a complete, since it is not something im interested in restoring, because the cost to do so is not worth it in my opinion. feel free to pm with an offer, dont low ball me on the price either
