Im looking for a heavy duty clutch return spring for my 69 Barracuda. I bought one on e bay and wasnt strong eonough to bring the pedal all the way back up. Anyone selling a heavy duty one ?

I may be wrong but I'm not sure that the strength of the spring has anything to do with that. I'm thinking the heavier spring was to help push a heavier pressure plate in that's why they are called over center springs Are you using a 3 finger or diaphragm pressure plate?

I have to check to see if the overcenter spring is still there or if it was removed. Right now the clutch pedal sits the height of the brake pedal need it to go up that little extra bit.

Is it a power or manual brake car? If it's a manual brake car, that is it. I am with the concensus on here. I removed mine when I installed my Centre Force clutch. Did the same to 2 others freinds A-body's as well. Sounds like It may just need to be adjusted.
