That is a lot of work, but you got a lot done in a short time. Like you I have to do my work outside as my garage is too small and I mostly use it for the small stuff and my job prepping commercial doors and frames

Oh wow. I don't know how you feel about working outside, but at times like this it stinks being poor. I sure would love a million square foot garage to use in the winter. Otherwise, the project is going to have to sit until spring when the weather gets warm again.

It's hot and muggy here in Florida in the summer, working outside sucks. Now that it's cooling down it's not too bad, I'll get more done in the winter than I do in the summer!

Ya, I drew up all my cars on a cad program and calculated how much square feet is needed to make the dream museum with a carpeted floor and workspace in the back for one car. It came out to 40x80'. Pricing them out, some local places deliver and erect a 40x80 for as little as the price of one new car.

Looks like it's been awhile since an update. Got any new pics to share on progress? I have to salute you man, that's an ambitious build. But have to give you big respect for seeing what it could be. We got this 74 for my sons first daily currently 225 but have a line on a low mile motor home 440. We demo'd a house in south lake tahoe cali the homeowner said there was a car out back we could have. We got really lucky

Oh wow, that car was free? Dam, that's nice.

Regarding the Demon project, it's got a coat of snow on it right now. I'd really like to finish it up but it will have to wait until spring, when it warms up.

It looks like the end of the season for working on cars (outdoors) here. Today we're getting the first real snow of the year. I'll have to continue on the resto in probably the middle of March when things starting thawing out here in the northeast. Thanks everyone for all the help so far.

I do have an empty one car garage full of Demon parts (no heat, no electricity, busted up floor), so am planning on dragging the frame and front suspension in to prep them for installation in the spring.

It really stinx to not be able to work on the Demon, but don't have much of a choice at this time of year.

I hear that, sucks.

Winter in the northeast without a heated garage is a time to work in the house.

For my 62, I sat on the floor, TV on, built a wiring harness, rebuilt a shifter, restored a heater box, made a dash pad, gauges, and more.

I redid my entire dash in house. I would bring it inside, let it warm up overnight, bring it outside, prime it, wet sand it, do it all over for finishing and paint.

It certainly dries faster outside in the cold!
After I would bring it in and let it sit overnight in the heat.

This was spray paint, still looks fantastic.

Having a hot water spicket outside helps.

I have bigger stuff to do this winter, so I wait.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking what you said and decided to work on the things that can be done in the house too. So I started working on the heater box also (loosening up the seized doors, re-riveting them to the box, checking and lubing the motor, cleaning the box inside/outside,lubing the flapper hinges, checking and cleaning the heater core, etc..).

Don't be afraid to start putting your engine together on the kitchen table. Helps with motivation...its what I am doing while I am down much of this winter
