One year ago a 71 Duster sold for 160.000,00 at Mecum - also a high-end restoration, but also not according to fendertag - but nobody cared here in the forum:

Looks to me these days, a high end build of a resto rod vs #s resto, both can bring big $ at Mecum, many times the resto rod does more. In the end, both are just steel and rubber and plastic and meant to be driven...maybe? As time marches on, us old guys are gone and fewer people have any kind of "nostalgia!"
