I'm not that familiar with all of these options. Someone else here may be. Also the diagram you show is a little different than the one in the service manual.

Let me see what your car came with and see if I can make heads or tails of this.
edit: looking at your information sheet I only see the A01 package listing the time delay ignition switch light.
Those are the wires mattax if you can direct me please

Lets look at the factory diagrams and see what we can figure out.
Also ask for some help from @Oldmanmopar @1969383S

First connector is identified in the thread linked earlier

The male connector should have wires located as follows:
1. Black L7A joined to Yellow with trace L6. I don't see this in the photo. Could be a diagram error.
2. Two yellow; M2A, M2B. These are from the dome light and are hot.
3. Two yellow with trace. Ground circuit for the dome light.

The female connector may only have two cavities with wires, position 2 & 3.
Is this true ?

Headlight on reminder is possible.
That is different than headlight delay (leaves the headlights on for a few minutes), an option that seems to be very very rare. (see here)

Do you have an ohm meter or continuity tester?
If so, look and test to determine if one of the black wires connects to a matching wire on the headlight switch connector.

Black wire single goes to steering column second pin black
Yellow tracer and black goes to switch light 2 pins black double and brown

Let's look at the pdf diagram you posted. That may be corrected because it matches what is on the car.

The T-shaped two cavity connectorfor the headlight warning buzzer shows L7A, just like yours. L7A should have continuty to the headlight switch connector.

To the left in the diagram is an angled connector showing yellow wires is for the map ignition switch light.

So the service manual shows the wires correctly but incorrectly illustrates that as a 3 position connector.

The black double and the brown are connected inside the switch.

The black double is power to the tail and parking lights.

So yes the gray T shaped connector is for the headlights on warning buzzer.

That what I was thinking and thanks for you input Mattax

That I don't know. The M2 circuit yellow wires are from the dome light and are hot.

Here's corrected factory diagram for the accessory light package.

Really what you want for assembly is the cable and cable routing diagrams. Some are in the shop manuals. '71 has more than most years.

All cables are on the assembly drawings. I'm not sure if Faxon has published any assembly drawings for 1971 A-bodies. They have exclusive right to publish those.

Excellent job this is what I was after
Great help and thank again mattax for the great information you provided

It looks like your PDF is from the standard instrument panel diagram while I was looking at the Rallye instrument diagram. Need both to compare with what you find on the car.

I have not done Any color drawings for 71 yet. I can or maybe able to download an original 71 Shop manual and assist if still needed.

Lots of DR. appointments the rest of the week but willing to find some time between them. One thing for sure is a need to understand all the options on ones "Your" vehicle if available to locate the exact diagrams in play.

They "Chrysler/Plymouth" original diagrams are usually all there though, and reading between the lines is required! JMO!
