I'm finally getting around to replace the 1/4 panels on my swinger. I replaced the left side about 3 years ago and then life got in the way for awhile. I started working on it again today. I got the old panel off so far and repair some of the rusty metal under the panel.
Had to mow the grass around it to start working on it.
bad little trees growing up in the car.
that fender was a color test for the paint i wanted a nice medium green so john deree green it is
bad rust stop that
extra points if you can know what rear end that is
a few air hammer beats later (back of my brothers head and his son was here helping me too)
inside fender well a little rusty on the edges so some miata front fenders to the rescue
looks much more structurally
and a little piece in the back and that's all we got done today it's not plan to rain for the next 4 days so hopefully i have a new 1/4 by then. because as you can see i have to work outside. thanx for reading if you have any questions about the car feel free to ask.
