Can I buy just the pre-bent exhaust section that goes between the muffler and the tail-pipe? The curved part that goes over the axle?

Ahh yes, sorry, 318, single. Thanks! I didn't realize that whole thing was the tailpipe, makes sense. It's been almost 30 years since I was under an A-body and 15 since I was under much of anything for really work.

That's strange. I've never known these cars to have any... I think this was a factory option exhaust ERC - 318 Single Exhaust:Color Rust Brown. It may have been a 72 only option.
You probably can,you will also need a muffler with the correct offset and lenght for it to work IF the front exhaust pipe is correct to fit with that tailpipe. Alot of people miss the part that not all exhausts are created equaly,sometimes different brand tubing will fit togheter and sometimes not even the same brand will fit with itself,due to changed angles during updates.
