I'm finally heavily underway with my Swinger. I haven't worked on a Mopar since I had my Fury when I was 16, so I'm going through a real learning process here. I have a bunch of GM's, so this is a nice change. I've been documenting like crazy and taking notes so I can get this all back together at some point.

Bought this car last August, and I was lucky to find an Arizona car here in PA, and only a few miles from my house. I'm in teardown mode now, in hopes of getting it on the rotisserie next week sometime. This car is beyond clean, needing zero rust repair, so I hope to have all the body and paint done here before summer is over, and have the winter to do all the detail work and get it back together. Current plans are to paint it Sublime Green, blacked out hood with dual scoops, rear bumblebee stripe, and plain black steel wheels. I have a 360 here I'm gonna build for it, along with a 727 and a buddy has an 8 3/4 for it. I want this to be more of a driver, so I'm keeping the AC, and obviously upgrading to disc brakes and such. I'm not totally decided on some aspects of this car, so I'm sure I'll change things along the way. Here are a few pics from when I got it till what it looks like now.

Well, got the car down to a shell (other than front suspension and rearend). Car really is super clean, but I knew there was some work done to the passenger quarter. As I ground away over an inch of filler, I got a good look at the damage. Pretty much in front of and behind the wheel and the lip got hammered pretty good at some point. Looks like I'll be putting a quarter on it. Already ordered a full AMD one and should be here next week. For now I'm working on the fenders, rear valance and extentions so I can get them all in primer.
