I have a '74 Dart Sport. (70-71 Duster clone now.) I tore the whole thing apart as soon as I bought it. I replaced the gas tank and sender when I was putting it back together. The inside of the filler neck was crusty, so I wanted to clean it out. There was a long, tongue-like baffle inside it, making it impossible to clean. I gambled and took the baffle out.
It's running now, and when I fill it up, it back splashes. I figure it's because I took out the baffle.
Looking at Classic's site, they list a neck for a '73-'74 with folding back seat, which I don't have. They list one for a '75-'76, without the folding back seat.
Because '75 is the first year for unleaded, I'm guessing that the only difference between it and the '74 without the folding back seat (which they don't sell), is the '75-'76 would the have smaller unleaded inlet.
These days, it'll only see unleaded. Should I just get the '75-'76 style? It ain't no resto, for sure. Or will the folding seat, '73-'74 folding seat type work? Or maybe someone else sells a '73-'74 type without the folding seat?

I plan on calling them Monday, but I'm afraid I'll get someone who doesn't know and may "take a good guess".
