Put a USB port in the ash tray tonight. Use it to charge my phone for the Bluetooth radio and the Fitech efi handheld.

Found it on eBay for like $3. I had to trim it down a little bit to make it fit. Just hit it a few time on the grinder to make it a little smaller.

End game ?? If you mean plans for the future. Its to get it running and street drive it mostly. Track a few times. More track time when kids get older. Should have no problem running 9s but will keep it right around 10.0s. For now.

Yes. White. No street racing for me. Just cruising around. Racing for the track.

What in tank fuel pump is that?? How do you like it?? I’m wanting to go to the Fitech Efi myself and was looking at your post. Do you still have to use the command center??

I use a in tank pump for a 88-93 mustang. You just need to make a feed and return line fitting on the tank. I didn't use the command center. Works great for my setup

If I did it again I would figure out a way to put the return line in the filler neck. The feed line I ran thru the sending unit.

Not working on the Scamp today but thought I'd share a new rust removal tip that I tried today. These are some suspension parts off my next project, a 68 Dodge Coronet. It was my grandpa's car. He bought in new in late 67 and I got it in 1992 when he passed away.
I went to Wal-Mart and picked up a gallon of hydrochloric acid for $6.88. I knocked off the dirt and scale with a wire wheel then put the tie rod adjusting sleeves in the acid for about 30 minutes. A good rinse with water and hit it with the wire wheel again. Sleeves looked like the idler arm to start.

Isn't that stuff caustic and nasty? But it looks like it works sweet.
