1975 Scamp Engine Bay Restoration

Since we are at a point we are waiting for headers, thought we would go thru front end, paint and install new brakes! We also installed a cheap gauge set to monitor engine on first start up and break-in!

Since I had time before TTi headers to arrive, I decided to pursue to trunk. I cleaned it all up, prepped and treated it with Herculiner, that stuff worked amazing! It looks great!

I just installed TTi Headers. They were delivered yesterday, I spent 2 hrs on passenger side, and about 3 hrs on drivers side. They fit great, I took a lot of time getting them in so I did not scratch anything! I will post some pics soon!

Here are the TTi Header fitment pics. They were a tight fit getting them in, but they fit well. The exhaust is temporary so I can get to exhaust shop without having problems the popo! Today is also motor break-in day as well! I will post a video soon!

BadSport, I bought it on CL last yr. Maybe you seen it there? The gauges are just some cheapies from Autozone, I needed something to monitor my motor break-in with.

I thought about buying those exact same gauges last year when I put my dash together, but I already had Phantom speedo and gas gauge on hand from my Mustang.

Well, here it is, just got it broke in, not even dialed in yet! Took it out tonight for the first time! Success! Thanks for all your help FABO Friends! I have learned a ton from all of you!
