I've been looking on the Internet for a 2bb carb with a secondary and primary jet. Has anyone ever come across one? If they don't exist would it then be better to use a 2bb carb, or 2, 1bb carbs? I'm going crazy because I can't seem to find a 2x1 manifold for sale and I know for a fact that they exist! And every link I hit takes me to Aussie speed but the site acts like they don't sell them!

(my slant is a 225)

I think Offenhauser will have a 2 X 2bbl. intake, not to sure about this one.

A 2bbl with a secondary side I beileve can be found on the Chrysler K car. I have seen such a carb before.

I hope I inserted the link correctly. I seen this 2-1 bbl intake on ebay. I have no idea of a value but it does have the linkage which is a plus.

That is the Offy 2 X 1 intake. The linkage is correct for the rotating rod set-up used on 64-66 slants (maybe 63s but not sure). Most likely it can be adapted for the cable operated linkage as well. Looks like it might fetch a little bit of money seeing it still has 4 plus days left.

I'm using a 32/36 Weber on my /6. It's called a progressive carb. It runs on the primary and then you kick in the secondary. I used a 2 brl manifold an adapter plate that they sell. I tried to use my stock linkage...but due to my lack of fabbing skills and equipment I chose to go with the Lockar cable for throttle and kick down. It work real well, probably needs a bigger jet in the secondary. If it's a non-stock /6 this will not be enough carb.

Is this the one you were talking about?

That's the one.

It makes my car almost run like it's got EFI...compared to the Holley I had on it before.

What is the original application for that Weber carb? Thanks

It was used on a lot of stuff. They are popular for retrofit on a lot of vehicles from Jeeps to 2002 BMWs. Old Toyota Corollas and Tercels had 'em. Also, the 1.7 liter Omni/Horizon, 2 liter AMC, 1.6 liter Escort/Lynx. Holley made the carb under license. It is known as the 5300 series.
