the girl in advanced asked me how much off it is. i said $2. she laughed and asked if she could see the circular. i gave it to her and she says fuuuuuuck!...lmao. she couldn't believe they were selling it so cheap....

correct. no coupon needed. if you goto autozone and get the circular and take it to advanced auto they will price match. yea it says not avail at all stores but the one by me carries it and had the sale tag on the reack right with it.. go check it out man. :)

bought 13 qts tonight. Sale good till sometime next month.

They ask how much I wanted and they would get it for me.

Best think is it has the ZINC our older engines need.

don't really need 20w50 but that and straight 60 wt was all they had.

Thanks for the heads up, it will work great in the dart

how long can I store the oil? I want to get ALOT for the car? 10w40 or 10w50!

If an oil has to be two bucks off a quart to be a good deal on sale, that's reason enough for me to stay away. A fool and his money are soon parted.

Talked to a Valoline rep last year and he said ONLY RACING OIL HAS ZINC so the VR1 is one you can use without adding anything to it.

My guess Auto Zone is going to quit carrying the VR1 oils and just cleaning out stock. @ 2.49 a qt is much better than buying Joe Gibbs racing (I got a case when the Dart was built $13 a qt.)

as far as how long oil will last. In a sealed container longer than you will need it. I have a 55 gallon drum that still has Phillips 66 10 x 40 and the same Valoline rep said it would be good to use since it is old formula

Problem with VR1 you will not find it in lighter weight oil
