I have a few pictures from Brice on Friday night. I don't think I took a single photo Saturday. I still don't know how to get pics from my iPhone to here.

I load all mine from the computer, I have no idea how to go straight from iphone to here... if thats even possible

Thanks for the thread Ma. I took 150 photos with my new camera not knowing it was set for large photos so I had to re-size a bunch of them. Thanks to HemiDenny and the group at the FABO tent. It was a perfect place for a meet and greet. You guys have some great cars and Denny had a cool display of his suspension kits he makes. Nice stuff! Nice chatting with you guys.

rookie!....where is your head at man!????

just kiddin' , great to meet you and thanks for sharing the great pics.

BTW....not that I liked leaving....but sure was fun cruisin' home (120mi) with Hank (Da Krank) aka HDK (he had hats too) and his Demon (blueish/silver w/Black top in pictuers).

FYI...With the gear vendor engaged, a 4:30 gear, and a 30" tall rear tire....65 mph @2300rpm

Nice pictures Bill, you captured some hotties :prayer:

What's the story with the banged up Daytona?

The banged up daytona was sold new at Eldon Dodge in Indy and smashed up early in life and left for dead in a junkyard. It was bought by a winged car guy named logan and dragged to his house and put to pasture. Now sold again, there is a fresh motor stuffed into what is otherwise a completely fresh field find body.'as we speak, it is being disassembled for a complete resto!!! Geof

Funny...ma snart took pics of every pit neighbor of mine but no shots of my car!! Must have something against GTX's!!LOL!! Ian and i made it over to the tent to say hi but got called back to the swap area to sell the guy withbthat green 66 cuda a pair of fenders for his project!! Never made it back up!! Sorry guys, we really wanted to say hi to everyone!! Geof

Sorry to miss your GTX, Cosgig...Stick a picture on here so we know what to look for next year.

I was there Saturday only, with wife and toddler so my day was busy and it went by too quick. I took a few pictures, including some by the FABO tent. I need to upload and post, if I get a minute to do so.

I think you meant Palmer Dodge in Indy (owned by Eldon Palmer, the driver of the famous 71 Challenger Pace Car that wrecked in the Indy 500)

The owner of this Superbird is one of the nicest people you will ever meet! He came over and offered to help out when the power steering pump went out on my Aspen and took me over to a garage to have the pulley taken off of my old pump and pressing it on the new one. Oreilly's couldn't get a pump for a 1976 Aspen until Monday at 10:30 but could get one for a 1980 Aspen Friday morning at 8:30.(it was Thursday evening at about 8:00pm)Thinking there should be no difference but there was a slight difference.....the 76 pressure line was a compression fit and the 80 is an "o" ring fit sooooo I called O'reilly's and he couldn't get one for about 3 days but would search other sources. Meanwhile Hutch found one online at Auto Zone just about a block off of Brice Road. I called to make sure they did really have it and they did! (luck) Couldn't drive the Aspen so it was the Superbird to the rescue! While checking out I heard the 'bird owner asking one of the employees if they sold carburetors and he said only edelbrock so I told him Jegs was just a block down the street. He said no way! I said sure Columbus is their home town, so we went to Jegs and killed 2 birds with 1 stone....and by the way he is NOT going to restore the 'bird cause it has too much history! I told him it was the coolest Taxi I ever had the pleasure of riding in.

Who's black dart was sitting next to the tent? The one that had the drag radials. That was one of my favorite cars

anyone know what year this thing is??

I believe it's a 1968 Joe but the bed and stepside fenders look just like the ones on my 1977 I owned many years ago.

I came down for Saturday only and was inside the gate at 9:15. Went right to the car corral because I know someone who is looking to buy a Mopar, specifically a 68 Charger. (Dumbass, didn't want to go-more money than brains) Then went through the swap meet and finally when I finally got through it and back to my car to get a drink, it was 4PM That's been my pattern when I don't have a car entered, all day in the swap and not much else. I took a lot of pix that are almost identical to Ma Snarts. Went through the A-body tent without talking to anybody. I think those awesome cars intimidate me. Stayed until nobody was left. Last thing I did was take a stroll down the midway and it was a ghost town. Anyway, I was surprised to see when I downloaded my pix Sunday that there were 620. I'll see if I can post a few in the next day or two.

I've been going to the Nats starting in 1983 in Milan and I'm pretty sure the only ones I missed were the couple years in Indy, just didn't seem right.

Which GTX was yours? I walked the pits a couple times.. Love looking at all the cars..

Its black and i was pitted with the 66 Carolina Cuda, Palindrome 68 Cuda, that green duster with the 70's custom stripes and right down the line from Badlilred mike!!
