Congratulations to 'Back in Time' (FABO), 'memike' (FABO), 'ocdart' (FABO), 'Pecos Bill' (FBBO), 'Unconventional' (FABO) and 'Yunick13' (FABO) for correctly picking #88 Shane van Gisbergen, to win the Go Bowling at The Glen. Each of them picked up -5 bonus points.

As a reminder here's a quick explanation of what the above numbers represent:
(your score before the race) race pick car # (Stage bonus points) (race pick car #) (Stage bonus points) (race pick finish position) (race pick finish position) (race winner/runner-up bonus points) (your score after the race)
Please let me know if I show either your Pole or Race picks incorrectly or if you have any questions.

Please post your picks for the next race and let me know if you want to "lock" them in for future weeks. I will put an "L" before either your Pole pick or your race picks to show they've been "locked".
As always, you can always make different picks each week. Your "locked" picks will always be there should you forget to post your race picks, your computer malfunctions or the site should go down temporarily.

Don't forget to get your picks for the Cook Out 400 at Richmond Raceway in Richmond, VA, posted before the green flag drops at approximately 7:45 PM EDT (4:45 PM PDT) on Saturday, August 16.

Cup practice session and Cup qualifying schedule:
There is one practice session scheduled at 4:30 PM EDT (1:30 PM PDT) on Friday, August 15. Cup qualifying for the Cook Out 400 will immediately follow practice at 5:40 PM EDT (2:40 PM PDT) on Friday, August 15.

Ugh. I was racing this weekend and forgot to post my picks till the race was 3 laps in. Probably the last race of the year so I shouldn’t miss anymore

I believe ocdart will look at your previous picks and use those cuda20, I truly believe next week's race will stur the pot some, good luck at Richmond

@44070dart, @alsant, @Back in Time, @fishmens67, @memike, @MeMikieJr, @Sublime one, @Unconventional, @Yunick13, I will take direction on this issue from all of you.
Take a look at post nos. 758 and 759 and let me know your opinions on how to treat 'cuda20' missing posting his Watkins Glen NASCAR picks.
The vote needs to be unanimous on what to do.

* Stick with last place finish for both missing picks
* Carry over his picks from the 8/03 race at Iowa Speedway
* Carry over his picks from the 8/03 race but delete any bonus points from the carry over picks at Watkins Glen

Let me know.
Thanks!

I think @memike has a viable solution. I really am pretty flexible on this, once you get a majority opinion please cast my vote in absentee for the majority position. I am traveling and may or may not respond timely. I admire and applaud your thought process on resolution @ocdart . Thanks for all you do every year on this, while I clearly do not take it as serious as I probably should, I love playing every year if only for bragging rights over Cousin MeMike! ( however it is not looking good for me this year, I think his boy is helping him!)

Option 2- but has this happened to anyone this year? If so they should get the same respect. Call it your 1 mulligan!

On Aug 3, BiT was hit with the no pick situation.

We didn't have this discussion when he got hit with it.

Just stating facts, not opinions, or votes.

He and his crew/owners may be gamblers, the way he has been racing his odds should go up. Witch will net them a big bonus paycheck.

They are in the "playoff" and may be testing "things" which has been an approach from prior years.

Once in the playoff, other than race wins, what's the incentive to go hard every race? There is none other than playoff points, etc. Positioning into the playoffs isn't that important. Win a playoff race, advance.
