You might be on to something there……ah that was it for today...
I am wondering if less cam might be more for this, guys seem to make massive peak power but the average is a bit low.. no actually sheet to look at though.

The camshaft DEFINITELY needs to be tailored to the Judged rpm window. You might be on to something there……
i like the pic.. that angle makes the headers look massive

Guys, the lifter bores have been corrected, but its 8:20 currently, and the block is one state away. We still have our spot if I can get the block back here early enough to assemble the engine, and make pulls tomorrow night. It seems ridiculous, but I'm kinda insane anyway

I’m traveling today, so keep the updates coming please!
I think they ment carlosomeone in chat said NC is supposed to be there in like a hour? that's crazy if he pulls it off...
Randy’s 3rd run = 611.2 hp, 527.1 tq
That ford isn't gonna find 60hp...
Yes, chevy #2 has All Pro raised runner heads, which the rules prohibit in writing. Salter evidently told him they were ok to run, will be interesting to see if the rules are honored. The integrity of this whole competition depends on fair and honest rule enforcement. They are arguing bout the raised runner thing
Despite my efforts, I dont have the head gaskets I need, so I'm not gonna make it unfortunately. Lord knows how hard I tried.

Greg also asked him how can they be the same as stock if the location is raised, to which salter responded "I dont know"Can't do more than your best, nice effort...
Yeah.. Salter showed pics of the heads and they look like stock location ports.. other guys there agreed
That's a poor excuse, this is the like the 4th time they have had this competition, they had it a few times back in 16-17They basically said it's a learning experience and they will have to tighten things up.. i don't think they were done talking though.. they went outside off camera to continue
