Looking for closed chamber heads for my '65 273, in S. CA please. I'm told that these casting numbers will work: 2465315, 2532080, 2536178, 2658920, 2658234, & 4323302. I believe that the '64 & '65 heads have 57.3 cc chambers.
Thanks, Richard Sweet

I don't have my list in front of me but I think some of those numbers are for 67 which would have the different intake bolt angle.

Al,
Right. I've drilled out the mounting holes on my '65 intake manifold, so they will work on both size and angle bolts.

Here you go.
2465315 64-65 273 closed chamber
2532080 64-65 273 closed chamber
2536178 66 273 closed chamber
2658234 66 273 closed chamber
2658920 67 273-318 closed chamber
2843675 68-69 273 open chambers
The 302 heads will work with a 66 and newer intake and do have hardened seats and a closed heart shaped chamber.

The 315 and the 080 are the only ones that will work with a 64 or 65 intake manifold.
All the closed chamber heads listed will have the 59 cc chambers or there about. (the factory spec is not to accurate for those who have measured)

Mike, I removed the 2843675 and added 2532080 heads.
Is there any reason all the listed later year heads won't work on my I.M. with enlarged bolt holes?
Thanks, Richard

Ive got a pretty nice set i would sell pretty cheap but shipping would be exspensive im in virginia.

The 57 cc for the heads are 'book' numbers...

I have a set of 920's that measure 63 cc's....

Yes closed chambers but the chamber cc is off from what was advertised. I shaved .030 off mine toget them to minimum. Oops, I should have let Karl answer.

Hey Karl, look at the photo closely, hardened seats? I will need to check.

It's hard to tell in the photo...

I had hardened seats put in mine, and also 360 valves, 1.88" intake and 1.6" exhaust... I put mine on a 318...

I finally found the pictures of mine with hardened seats and the 360 valves....

Id stick with the Ram 302's: good ports, good heads, high swirl heart shaped "closed heads". available off any Diplomat or pre mag truck. Check cracking between valves.

Mike & Krazy,
Are you guys selling your heads or just showing them?
Richard
I'm just showing them. I have the 920's in the pics above and a pair of Magnum's and a pair of #302's. Both of those need gone through. Shipping just kills when you sell heads. Probably $40+ per head.

I would sell the Magnums. I want to keep the other 2 sets until I decide what to do with my roller cam 318 block. The #302's came from there.
