Hey all I have 74 Duster with a Slant6/3 speed manual.
I was wanting go witha 4 speed with Carbed Magnum engine.. I know about the flywheel being externally balanced differently from the LA 360, my question is does it matter what bell housing I use as long as its from a small block A body between 70-76? or are there a lot of differences? thank you in advance

Ps. Love the forum and information here:prayer:

Check out Brewer's transmission website.
A ton of info, yes there is differences in bell housings depending if you have a standard 4-speed or an overdrive.
McLeod sells a nice flywheel that you add or remove weights depending on engine balance.

the reason I ask is I have a chance to possibly get a 4 speed setup from 71 or 72 I think. I looked at Brewers too

Will this just bolt in place of my 3 speed?:burnout:

Drive shaft will need changed.
I am pretty sure the yokes are small on the 3-speed.
What rear is in the car?
