Wondering if a 1966 318 poly non AC crank pulley, waterpump pulley, alternator bracket, power steering bracket will bolt up and align to a LA motor?

Yes they would be bolted to a pre 1970 la motor. Forgot to mention that.

if you have them, then i'd at least try. but if you're going to buy them, then i'd say don't roll the dice and get stuff you know will fit. it comes up often enough around here (or place an ad) that it's not like tracking down big foot's wallet or anything.

What vintage LA motor are you working on???

Why not just get the proper pulleys and bracket...

I doubt the alternator bracket will work, but I'm only familiar with the LA satyle engine and haven't worked on a poly... However the poly was nicknamed the "big block" 328, so I doubt the alternator brackets will bolt up... Same with power steering...

I'm still working on this how-to on pulleys, but there are a couple of sections that show the early LA style pulleys...

Working on a 5.9 magnum v belt setup going in a 67 b body. Just asking about 66 poly because i saw one that had a matching set of pulleys on it someone was parting. I'm wanting a pre 70 setup because i already have the left hand radiator. I actually have the stock alternator & brackets for the 67 and power steering pump. ps pulley is junk so i really only need the water pump pulley, crank pulley, and ps pulley. Maybe i'll just keep my eyes open for a pre 70 318 la with the correct set up. Trying to avoid getting a mismatched set.
