I have a 76 Dart Swinger which was originally delivered with a 318. I am planning to install a 1970 340 but cannot find the correct motor mounts.

I purchased a set of poly spool mounts for a 76 318 Dart but the width of the mount at the bushing centerline is approximately 1" wider than the K member stands. The width between the stand mount is approximately 2.75" The width of the mount at the bushing centerline is 3.75".

I wasn't sure if the mount was incorrect so I purchased another at the local Auto Zone and the width was 3.75".

Is there a specific part number mount that will fit in 73 -76 small block K member?

LH spool mount for a 360 is what you need if you want to be absolutely correct. The 340/360 are the same on the drivers side

318/340/360 are all the same on the passenger side. You can reuse your passenger side 318 spool mount on the passenger side of the 360 as a direct bolt up.

Another option is to use what you have for the drivers side is to simply use a longer grade 8 bolt in the AFT mount hole on the LH 318 spool mount and spacer it up between the mount and block ear. See pic below.

Thanks for the quick response however I am having a problem with the bottom of the mount fitting into the K member stands.

You leave the 6 mounting bolts on the engine side of the spool mounts slightly loose so when lowering the engine in you can nudge the mounts in or out at the bottom to get them to line up with the U shaped slots on the K frame. Once lowered in place, tighten them up. Been there done that. Lower the spool mounts in place with the long cross bolts that mount the spool to the K frame already in place as well.

Aftermarket poly inserts dont fit correctly from the get go. They have to be modified to fit. The spool mounts are all the same 73-76. I used a spool mount K in my 67. Bought polyurethane inserts. I had to shorten them to make them fit. I dont remember exactly what I did or how, but I made them fit.
