I recently cleaned up this 1970 340 intake I got for cheap. I’m looking to bolt it up to my 1987 318. I’m pretty new to this stuff, can anybody point out and help me label all these ports and stuff? I just want to know what’s what… Like that nipple looking thing on the rear right of the intake. Thanks in advance!

"nipple looking thing" would most likely be for power brake booster. Excellent intake for a 318 by the way. Sorry, had to edit. Long day yesterday. I was incorrect on the bolt pattern :)

all standard 4150 holleys will bolt right on or a carter. A spacer such as the factory used will work on either, But! your concern should be the larger intake ports of the intake fitting the smaller ports of the head. Use 340 gaskets and Port match the lead of the port into the head or the flow will hit the edge of the head port sticking past the intake. Just a FYI
