[WANTED] 340 oil dipstick tube

Looking for oem dipstick tube and stick. For 5q stock style a body pan.

Most of the replacement dip sticks sold are longer then the early LA small blocks, Do they work? Yes they do. The tube and stick are longer then the 340 years are and usually chrome or have an aluminum tube. I believe there are some out there that are the correct length and material. Just beware of what you are buying.

I bought the eBay one for my '65 F/S 273. Any suggestions for tube installation? looks like a very tight fit and am concerned about damaging it by using too much force.
