360 ci Duster Timing

-
The 360 wasn’t offered in an A body until 1974 but was in the full size Dodge’s in 73 though. A factory service manual for a Polara or a Fury would have that info.

Go till it pings and drop it back a degree or two.

I like to do all in timing at around 2800 rpm…. Probably 34-36 degrees

I have a service manual for a Fury, 73 360 timing TDC.

12° BTDC with vacuum advance unplugged and vacuum line plugged with a "Golf Tee".

That is where I would start, I just posted what the manual stated.

Have to laugh, back in the '70s everyone had a Golf Tee in their tool box for plugging that vacuum line.

Points, Plugs, Dwell and Timing.
That was the basic tune up of the day that people took their cars in for.

Tune Up and GOF
Grease, Oil & Filter.

Yup, still keep a handful of golf-tee's in the tool box, and dad's old hand held dewll meter / tach combo, and a vacuum gauge.
