The main idea in porting the intake would be to enlarge the runner to the gasket size as far as you can go up the runner. The roof should be raised, the floor should be left alone as much asIve read about that, definately will. Not clear on how far in one should go, but I assume leave the floor alone other than tapering near the flange.
Possible. Grinding on the floor to maintain the size is OK at best. The roof should be raised to maintain the port size. The middle of the side by side ports should be addressed.
On your head shots, the pushrod pinch should be widened at the bottom. Open up that pushrod pinch as much as possible.

but they did assemble my heads after having those for 2 months. Short story long, no short block, but heads taken care of, got my rockers, cam and lifters, a few other valve train parts, and a gasket matched Weiand Action intake. So now I need to source a 360 core and find a good machine shop. Thankfully spring is here and Mopars At The Rock is just around the corner, maybe I can find something decent there and get some leads on good shops in this region.
