If i read correctly, my one piece cast harmonic balancer/Serpentine pulley is not compatible with the V belt setup and LA timing cover i want to run.

So looking to buy whatever pulley and balancer it is i need.

my motor is a 2000.

As far as I'm aware, the Magnum never came with V belts.

They didnt, but the pre 2000 ones had a 2 pieces harmonic balancer that you could remove the pulley and bolt up the v belt one instead of the one i have where the serpentine pully and balancer itself are one piece unit.

Summit Racing has two balancers to fit your engine for less than $110 each. You'll need a pulley.

I "think" I bought a Magnum balancer at Mancini and used the entire front end from a 273...well, except I found a 70 timing cover to have timing marks on the drivers side (that are almost impossible to see),

Thanks Wes! Used to be what we had to do to run V belts on a Magnum was change out the timing cover for an LA and run LA stuff. Nice to see there are other options now.

Im doing that as well for mechanical fuel pump. But the problem is the LA balancer is weighted different so you have to use an early magnum one
