im just going to bite the bullet and put springs in it even though i just bought the 360 i really wanted

Quite too big of a cam for a stock low compression engine unless you want to rev it very hard. It'll just putt around below 3000 or so RPM and at some point start taking off after that. Not for street driving for sure.

Don't forget to change the timing chain while you are in there.
