Sorry for that last one. Maybe this is more appropriate...
Wasn't Eagle the company whose cranks were breaking left and right a while back?Absolutely no way I would use Proform rocker arms, or Eagle parts to build this engine with.
However, if you do you'll find out personally why you shouldn't have used them.

Yep, that combo is not making 605 HP...maybe trick flows corrected numbers lolReally? Not on my dyno. You might hit 580 but even that takes some work.
Folks forget, the 'HP' Series of Holleys are rated @2"Hg delta, not 1.5"Hg, ....a 1000HP is the equivalant of an 866cfm std. 4150 DP. The venturi & throttle blades are the same dimensionally as an 850DP. No choke, improved airhorn contour, & tunability are the big plus factors. With the annular boosters, prob. flow the same as an 850, but are super responsive & make more power....at least My experience so far.and there ain't no 850 TQ on that engine, it's a 1000cfm HP Holley.
It's about what I'd expect from a sub .600 lift cam.
Because not everyone is on the internet picking up the latest news on people reporting on the internet of their broken/failing parts if, IF it gets reported. Also as well if, IF the person reads the report that may only be found on one forum. How do they stay in business if the breakage is continually happen ?

How many MoPar forums are there?
Do you read them all?
Eagle’s fixing of the problem still had older cranks out to be sold.
I can not actually say.Weren’t the Eagle broken cranks mostly small block CAST cranks? …. About 10 years ago?
I run a 11.5-1 360 with a Hyd roller camThe car described in the original post is a street car with handling upgrades and 315/40/18 rear tires.
His objective was between 500-600 HP with 470” stroker. So for 550 HP that is 1.17 HP/CID.
Seems doable with 241/247 @050 cam and TF240 heads ??
I’d worried about the 10.5:1 compression on 92 octane gas with street motor. My perspective, that’s safer with 9.7-10.0:1 compression.
Hush you.4.150 is a short stroke?
Hush you.
It's just 0.025" longer than a /6... Isn't that what you have in Vixen?
So he wants to stroke a 383, i say go for it. How many of you guys give the 318 stroker crowd the same grief?
Once again, i am going to recommend to the OP to go drop the money on this book. He can educate himself so he has a better idea on what questions he should be asking, before he comes to kick the hornet's nest of grumpy old farts who can't recognize that the 383 is the superior species.
