He must not want what I have. I have the whole shifter and linkage for a three speed floor shift. His hangup seems to be the pistol grip handle....which no three speed ever came with. Caint help him there.

It’s a very easy fix. Just buy the pistol grip handle and weld it to your 3 speed shifter base. Not that hard to do.

I know! I told him how I'd do it. Make a triangle plate that matches the top plate on the shifter and weld the pistol grip handle to it. One and done and it's even removable like a factory piece would be. His complaint was that "he can't do it" and that's cool.....but how cheap would that be to get done? I sure wouldn't let that hang me up.

Yes, I did just the opposite, I cut off an A body 3 speed handle and welded a bolt on plate to fit my 4 speed!

Unfortunately I don't weld, so I've incorporated the help of a couple of Mopar guys to do this.

It's all in the works.. I've got someone doing the fabrication for me... Just waiting in the shifter. Like you and others have mentioned, they said it would be simple to do...

SO I guess you don't want my shifter then?

I may still want yours... After these guys look mine over I'll know if I need it.
I bought this car non running, and shifter not hooked up. I was just going to circumvent the inevitable based on my luck, and buy one that is good...
I've been out of this game a long time..almost 30 years since I drove my Demon.. Stuff I did to my car as a teen, without manuals and internet, seems difficult for me now.. Use to fix anything I needed to... Not sure what the hell happened...lol
