4.7 dakota to 5.7

How much work would it be to switch out the 4.7 in my '05 dakota to a 5.7? Is it even worth it or should I just put a little extra in the 4.7?

Have you check airram.com ? They do the 4.7 hot roding. My buddy has a dak 4.7 5 spd that we are gona put a turbo on if you wanna go with the 4.7

That is a gen 3 Dakota, he has a gen 4. I dont know firsthand, but I have read at Dakota-Durango.com that the hemi is too wide for the gen 4.

That forum has a whole section dedicated to the hemi swap and would be a good place to start.
