Is this streetable at all or race only?? Do you need octane booster? To run in 10's it must be 500+ hp.

Motor 5000.00 Trans & Converter 1600.00 May Trade

we have a real brain on this site. I'll guess $6500 is for both, the other prices are if you buy only one. It's not rocket science.

His earlier post in this thread was for $4900 for the motor(post #2). Latest price was $5000 for the motor(post #9). I just asked if the price went up, that's all.

I would agree, price looks like it went up a hundred. After 60+ runs wide open i'de say it was pretty well cooked.........can get a fresh 408 for not that much more............go figure :violent1:

No way 60 passes wont cook a engine if it's built right. More like 600. It wouldn't hurt to drop the pan and install new rod bearings. Ross pistons are excellent as well as the other stuff. Sounds like it was built right, bullet proof low end including the cam. Better than a 380 crate engine for sure!

OK, Lowered Price For Serious Buyer 6200.00 Or 4800.00 motor, Trans 1550.00. Motor is not cooked jobenz maybe your motor is after 60 runs

Hi: nice combo, im imterested, but need you to give me a better price, rigth now im living in México but if we deal can pick it up in El Paso Tx. (79938, if it is possible to send it)
P.D. Sorry for my english

I have some trw 10:1, .30 over that might make this more streetable combo. hmmm.... new rings, bearings

That's a good price. I have a similar motor with 11.8:1 compression. I have put almost 13,000 miles on it, hard and easy in the last two summers. I run 93 octane normally or tune it up for 110 octane. After all those miles I am hitting the track for the first time this Wednesday. It is strong and uncooked. I expect low 11's to high 10's in my Dart. I can assure you 60 passes did not hurt this motor, and anyone who puts it in their car will be deliriously happy with it. My first post after installing mine was titled ... Holy **** this thing is fast!
