I built a 416 smallblock. Here is my combo:
RHS heads 2.02/1.625 runners untouched
wesco pistons around 11.1 compression
comp hdy. roller .571/.571 248/256 107
Edelbrock air gap
comp roller rockers 1.5
The question I have is what size headers should I run? and What size carb?
Its in a 76 dart.
The tranny is 904 with turbo action 10in converter
and the rearend is 8 3/4 w/410 gears. Also what kind of power am I looking at with this combo? Thanks

I'm putting togather a 410" small block for my Dart Sport with quit a bit more cam, compression, & ported Edelbrocks. I'm using Hooker 5204
1 3/4" Super Comps. I'm thinking they would work good with your combo also.

What's the operating rpm you're looking for?

If it's 3000-7000 I'd say 800cfm.

Probably be just fine with a 750. Lotsa options and pretty affordable too.

1-3/4 tube, 1-7/8 prefur'd, 800 cfm. Put the car on a diet as much as possible.

Thanks guys. I was looking at the hooker 5204s. The car weighs 3250 w/me.

Oh one other thing I have a Mildon low profile pan(7qt). I was wondering if the hooker headers clear the pan?

For a carb, either an 870 Street Avenger or an HP950. Headers, biggest you can afford.

Holley HP 850. I love my HP 950, but I rarely drive it on the street, and I have bigger valves, ported heads, and a bigger cam, so i think an 850 would be plenty for your combo.
