440 heads

I have a 440 with 413 heads on it. It was out of an RV. The block is a from 67. Is there anyway to change the heads? (The ones on there right now are the kind that the water pump housing connect to) If I change the water pump housing and the heads will I have any issues? ie over heating.

Sounds like you have a motorhome set of heads. Change the heads and the pump and you should be fine.

sweet thanks thats what i thought but i wanted to know for sure before I bought new heads

Does your set of heads have the heat cross over ports? Post a pic if you can. Thanks. I may by em from ya if i like what i see.
