440 rod cap ?

how do I tell witch way a rod cap goes on a 440 I have one that's not marked and I got it turned around...need to know how to tell witch way it goes....

Tang to Tang...yep. Just make sure the chamfer side is toward the crank? A piston notch installed on the rod reversed could make the rod/chamfer backwards for that cylinder.
 
cool thanks.. is 95ft correct for the mains, and 30 ft on the rods...

If your using aftermarket bolts, refer to the manufactures specs. I'm not a BB Mopar guru...lol. But that rod spec worries me...? I think the rods in the 45/50 range is more in line, and I believe a 85 spec on the mains is sufficient. More input from some other members will help. :thumbup:

you are correct 85 mains 45 rods ....
