Looking for info on such a build:

are there stroker kits out there to do this?

pros/cons of doing so instead of doing a more common 408 build (for a street car 525hp)?

for 10k that seems like a very good price for what you get... bummer you just have to pull it apart and check everything...

Not needed for that power level for one. Alot depends on what rpm that power is made at, if you care about heads (aluminum vs. cast iron like the rhs), what vehicle it's going in and what you plan on doing with it. Work with a good builder so you get the most for your $$$.
A "good" buy may not end up that if it doesn't fit your application.
