5.9 Magnum head casting #

I purchased a wrecking yard 5.9 Magnum supposedly from a van with less than 100000 miles. I saw these round plugs that looked epoxied to some of the freeze plugs.
I’m now suspecting this engine may have been rebuilt unless the wrecking yard installed these for warranty also.

Anyhow my main question is 53020466 a 5.2 or 5.9 cylinder head

I need to pull the pan and see if I can tell if it’s been rebuilt. It turns over fine.

There is a lot off conflicting info on line
Some folks claim the 318 heads have slightly smaller runners

That's true with LA heads, but Magnums all use the same heads.

Easiest way to know you have the right magnum heads, just look for the cracks between the seats lol
