63 Dodge Dart, now let me see;)

Darn, that looks nice and good price too! I have something coming now.

omg, it was beautiful here in cypress, tx! So, I thought I'd play the matt sage green metallic and spray the engine compartment. Took some time to prep it, but it came out nicely~ the paint sprays so well! I'll make a nice cover for it while it's in wait. hm, the sofa is calling me to lay on it!

oh, the radio that I did order, they called me and asked for the application, and I responded~ "oh, we don't have a radio for that car", so I cancelled the order.:realcrazy:

re the radio, i come up against that when buying parts for a custom build here in the uk. if you don't have a vehicle registration to give them most parts suppliers are useless these days. i look for a suitable 'matching' vehicle on ebay and then give them that registration, lol.
neil.

When my wife insisted on getting new living room furniture, I refused letting the most comfortable recliner I ever sat in during my life, go to Goodwill. I drug that thing straight out to my shop! Now, I don't even have to walk back to the house to lay down and rest for a minute!

I was going to do that also but The better half had a caveat. Do that I want a phone or a intercom in the shop. Hope someone is enjoying the recliner!

Now that another ice age has set in for several days~ I got to thinkin about a hood prop. There's probably nothing wrong with the original "torsion bars?" So, just trying to clean up the engine compartment clutter.
I think the easier way is just to have a hood prop. Otherwise~ any ideas?

I found this pic a while back, there was no information as to what hydraulic things were used and I sure don't know how to calculate the necessary lift/length. actually looking at the picture, I'm not sure what vehicle that is.

That pic with the fugly blue wheel....I'm pretty sure is a FABO members car. He did some fantastic work on it.....and it's a 4 door. I can't remember his screen name, but I will go dig around and see if I can find the thread. If I remember right, his car ended up a similar color to what yours will be.

Mopar Tim :thankyou:, so can you post your link to the hood/trunk lift things, or what did you use, from what application, etc etc :poke::poke:

I dug around, and there are no pics of strut installation in the thread I was thinking of. Looks like you've got a handle on it though. After you figure it out....I'll copycat you on my 65 Barracuda, lol.
