63 Dodge Dart, now let me see;)

Tip for pictures in tight places.

Shoot it in video probably with flash in, then swoop in there at different angles as it is recording.

The go back and watch the video and screen shot out what you want to save as a still picture.

Also in Selfie mode, can give you another refined vantage point to capture pictures.

Well, my phone died just as I was taking these pics. maybe gives a better relation from the torsion bar to the end of the Clutch rod end.

Anyway, this is it in the garage until next week, like Wednesday:( it's all just thinking about possibilities~ I do like more and more about an external slave.

slave cylinder possi.jpg

maybe something like this inbetween the exhaust and TO arm. make a nice bracket to hold, then wrap it.

Or this:

Always good to have another bell housing around

This looks better, I'd have to do my own mods

I've never measured Glen, It's stock pipe that I bought from Ray. ;)

ok, had a little time today to do something before leaving for Philly~ engine/trans setup with exhaust, figuring on an external slave cylinder. Zach's helping me out, but all are welcome to voice.
Oh, the large socket represents a slave cylinder  going to finish packing now~

I'd have to fabricate my own bracket, but that's ok.

I'm looking seriously at this one by Modern driveline, the line going in is at a 90 degree angle and out the side vs out the back. plus it looks shorter, I wish they'd put measurements in their ads. I think I just need
the cylinder and the bracket that it is retained in.

Just chiming in, we were in Philly helping our daughter move it to her new apartment (4000 per month). It had no AC so we installed 6 media air window units throughout the 4 story apartment and many other chores. It took us a few days to recover, not to mention(for me) the stress of air line traveling. Finally feeling better today.

Still an ongoing thread:

I'm just going to clean shop today

other news~ my oldest brother Robo used my trailer to go buy this '74 Honda CB360, he'd been looking for quite some time, very nice, clean 2900 bucks. Oh how I'd like a bike, but I have a garage full of classic cars.

ok, heading to the garage;)

Welcome back .
Sounds like one heck of a trip, lots of work.
Did you at least get a Philly cheesesteak while you were there ?

Have a great day.

Thank you Glen, no place like home, and my garage  , we actually didn't really eat very well at all, very sad. We'd go find AC's, grab Breakfast at mcdonalds, skip lunch, but she did fix us a nice steak on our last evening there. ok, got to say I did something in the garage~ heading there now to put tools up, clean up, etc.
dne007 ;)

If you had my 66 Fairlane I have advertised for sale, you would have no less than 2-3 people per week wanting to trade me a darn motorcycle of some sort!! But the cycles might not be worth whatever!! Then there are the ones that want to trade me a non running 85 Chevy pickup with 386, odd miles, the ones with Honda Civic just in from N.Y.slat and the guys to trade me a box of kittens with the moma cat!!! Oh yea, yesterday, a guy wanted to trade me his enclosed car trailer. Yea, I want to trade, trade my car for CASH!!!!!

last time IO flew (years ago) I sat by the wing window seat, as we approached K.C. I.R. it was snowing so hard I could not even see the wing at all! You could feel the pilot feeling his away along with the instruments hoping to land right side up!
Glad you all survived!!!!

Been a rough week without any "007" postings....

Had to send my "Cardboard" out to the recyclers cause I did not have any new >Templates< to make.

Hope you had a good time away. Know you want to be back in the shop...

Enjoying what you do, making things happen.

Dne007, you are moving at a great pace and do some nice work, just a heads up the TO bearing fork is too long for early abody, the picture with the tape measure shows about 3 inches to long, the factory rod between the fork and cross shaft fits between the bellhousing and exhaust pipe. I could send a picture by text if you want, I just can't get it to load to my pc. Since you are using 833 OD with larger bearing retainer I don't know if they make a shorter fork to fit that bellhousing, see what Brewers Performance has to say. You could always cut a section out and weld. If this is what you do, then it looks like a smaller bracket can be made to get the slave cylinder away from exhaust pipe with possible heat shield for protection.

Yes, it’d be great if you could get a picture;). My flywheel and new pressure plate should be here on Tuesday(diaphragm). I always thought the one I have now looked a little long:(

If I knew how long, I have another fork, maybe I could shorten it?

Ed, I hope you don't mind, I posted one of the pics you sent me;) I wrote Dan Brewer and checked on Brewers and can't find anything but one like mine~ just started looking, on the ebay and Brewers

What did @Dan Brewer say? That guy is so knowledgeable based on pictures. When I was building my 4 speed, I had mis matched synchros and hubs (different years) he was able to identify just by a picture. Great guy
