Good Morning A-body people,

I need to reseal the Barracuda doors. Now my 66 needs the top roof seal and the windlace around the door. I also need a new windshield gasket. I can find the gaskets and seals everywhere including a site right off this forum. But if you talk to Atlas Obsolete they are the only ones who carry the roof seals that are moulded one piece (meaning the length and the moulded end are one piece with the steel inserts) and there windlace is the proper one also. They are also by far the most expensive (usually you are paying for proper parts.) Being it is weather striping, I dont want issues, but the costs are all over the place.

Who reciently has bought door weather stripping? The problem is most vendors are all using the same genaric picture and you cant properly see the moulded ends. I am putting this car together as a daily driver as all my normal vehicles will be tied up with plows and sanders in a few weeks for snow. Please be honest and tell me who is a good vendor.

I got my windlace from Rock auto, I ordered black and it was really nice stuff. What you need to do is go on a site like Legendary look up the windlace color that you need and get the part number, black is LM23GBLK then go to rockauto.com and in the search box type in the part number and it will come up. I paid $94.99 for mine which was better than any where else. They also have the roof rail seals but I did not need them. Don't forget to use the discount code for an extra 5% off, the code is 70059763247353 type that number in the how did you hear about us box and hit apply.
Good Luck

Metro Supersoft Has ad on side of the forum.

Metro as seen in other postings is hit or miss. I have also had my issues with them. I ordered my trunk seal got the wrong one and I ordered the cat whiskers he sent me the ones for a valiant and then blamed me when I had to exchange them.

Thank you! I see the Barracuda owner's help. I also appreciate the help from the people who bought from the "just mopar" site. The stuff is expensive no doubt. The customer service is a key especially when you are spending $400 on one shot.
Thank you for the help.
