Good Lord! I took no pictures cause when I took them off it looked so obvious to how they would go back on. Guess what ? Any one at this point in their restoration? got a picture ? Too much time passed. Probably too obvious that's why I cant get this puzzle.

that long one goes towards the door. with the big holes towards the firewall (special hex headed screws with big thin washers) going into the firewall.

the other one has 2 bolt holes (where's your rubber weatherstripping? You can get it from DMT I think.) you need to angle the bolt holes to the top so that they will go through the 2 holes in the inner fender.

this shape would be the drivers side panel
dang those look like 66 panels too! hmmmmm.

I have the splash shields off on both my 65 Dart & 64 Valiant. I think the paint is dry after a year or so. In fact, planning to re-install tomorrow (vacation). I test-fit a week ago, so know how they go. I had to order the nuts and bolts since my shields weren't installed when I bought the cars (bought front ones for Valiant), and cheapie paint shops lose parts faster than they add hair to your paint job.

I bought hardware from Clips and Fasteners (PageAuto Supply on ebay), 1/4-20 and 5/16-18 "extruded U nuts" (GM 1494252 & 53) and "hex head SEMS Body Bolts". I attached the rubber edge seals w/ weather-strip adhesive plus the factory clips, and had to cut some new from flat neoprene sheet rubber.

Your front shield looks just like my 64 Valiant (afts are same as Dart). The scoop should face aft to let the headlight harness drop down from the big inner fender hole to route fwd to the lights. The two bolt holes on each side go up into the welded nuts on the sides of the big hole. In the photo, we are looking at the aft side, so it fits the passenger side. The edge at the top of the photo is outward, fitting against the outer fender, with a rubber seal (missing). The lowest hole goes into a U-nut on your front valance (sheet-metal below front bumper).

The aft shield is much less confusing. The "stair-step" end is the top. An asphalt-type paper extender is supposed to clip in the little holes. The long side with flat edge (L bend) fits outward, against the outer fender. The many little holes are for the rubber seal to clip to. The one shown is for the passenger side.
