65 Barracuda 4spd Maybe?

I am in the process of purchasing a 65 barracuda 273 commando 4spd car. This is the transmission included with the car.

I know the 65 trans to driveshaft connection is suppose to be a bolt together rather than the slip yoke. This trans features the slip yoke.

Can anyone help me identify what I’m looking at ?

i don't know what that is, but it ain't no a body piece.

better pics of the #'s would help.

ETA: 99127 extension housing is B body (which is kinda what i thought)

Sooo it’s not actually for the 65 cuda and probably won’t fit my 65 barracuda.

no it's not. which is what i said in my first post.

anything will fit if you have a sawzall, hammer and welder.

That B body transmission is worth more than an early A 4 speed. If the car is something you want I wouldn't let that trans disuede me. 65

I offered $650 for the car with no engine but just this trans. Now I’m debating my choice. It has all the missing body panels inside it.

that trans could be worth anything from $75 to $475 (that's just what i sold the last one for) or more.

so in terms of overall purchase price? i'd probably roll dice if it was a project and i could sell that and offset the cost.

coming up on an a body 833 it's that tough. they're out there.

the more important part would be: is the rest of the 4spd stuff there? all of that is specific to early A body, and some of that is even year to year.
