What was the stock tires?

Currently has
P195 70R14 Front
P225 70R14 Rear

Should they be more aggressive?
All 4 the same size?

Give me your ideas.

Thanks!

stock tire was a 165/80R13 or whatever the SAE size was 13X6.50? There was a 14 option ~14X6.95 or a 205/70R14. 205 is pretty fat on this car at all 4 corners and newer tires offer alot more traction with smaller widths.

6.50-13 came on the six cylinder cars
7.00-13 came with the 273
6.95-14 was an option upgrade

I think the small diameter in the back is what makes alot of early a bodies look odd. I ran a 245/60/14 in the back which is the largest with out offset spring hangers or mini tub. Fronts look good in a 205/70 195/70. My old scamp looked pretty sweet with 225/60/14s steel wheels on all four corners too and would be a good look on early cuda as well.

OP's stagger sounds good to me. The stock width tire gets lost in that rear wheel well.

Jake's 65 is running 205/70/14 up front and currently 215/70/14 in the rear. SBP rallyes all around. For his birthday, we gave him a pair of Wheel Vintique's 15x7 rallyes with a 4.25 back space for the rear and we are figuring out how big of a tire he can squeeze under it with no mods.

I have 205/70 /14 on my 66 as well.
