Does any one know if these wheels will fit on my 65 dart gt. I have looked through the various forum discussions and have not found any info. 15 x 7 cragars with small bolt pattern 5x4. Back space 4.125 and 3mm offset. Would look at running 215 or 225 / 50 / 15 tyres.
Thanks, Stephen

I haven't heard of any vehicles other than 60-72 Mopar A's using 5x4" bolt pattern, and Cragar's wouldn't market to Japanese cars. Insure that the center register hole is correct. If the wheel's hole is larger, you can get hub-centric adapters in nylon (ebay). You can find what backspace means on websites (Tire-Rack). I recall "offset" means where the bolt-up face sits relative the half-depth of the wheel, but forgot which way is positive.

Put a metal square on your hub and measure from that. Backspace offset will be measured from the square back to the center of the car.

You have gotten good advice here.
Just watch out for mid-60s Mustang wheels that used 5 x 4" stud spacing but with a smaller center hole.

I have 15x7's with a 4" back space on my 66. (same wheel openings as your 65) I have 225/70's on with no rubbing

A 7" wide wheel with 3.75 - 4.0" of backspace should fit and clear your low cut rear wheel well. The extra 1/8 of backspacing, while not a lot, will put wheel closer to the leaf spring and this will potentially limit your tire width choice because tires often stick out past the rim edge and end up even closer to the leaf spring and a possible rubbing situation.

I believe you are thinking of the 4 bolt wheels Ford used. Their 5 bolt wheels were 4 1/2" bolt circle.
