hopefully this won't be moved and have to hunt it! LOL workin on 65 dart GT, yes it will retain the leaning motor, BUT, what size rims and tires can i run. don't want to move rear springs, (BUT i might!) i know i should put on the 73 up disc setup ( BUT i might not!), really want torque thrust style mags up front, (can't find sbp in anything but a 17 in and being an old fart, don't like the low profile tires!.... i know, put on the disc setup, have the bpp and buy a 15 x 7 mag, but will it fit??? then i'll have to change the rearend to get rid of the sbp rear.............. so what the advice of those wiser if not older than i????????? thanks for any advice, i even aprreciate the occasional smart a--- comments! LOL BILL

There is a company that makes sbp torque thrust lookalikes in 14s and 15s. Price is really good too. I'll look for the name.

in searching i found reference to co called E-T had 15 x 4 on up with sbp. price started at $310??!! they don't realize i'm from poor a== state of MO!??? do ya know what will fit the 65 dart in stock form?? like how your tires fir the wagon! BILL

I put Coys wheels on my '66 and couldn't be happier. Excellent wheel so far. I drive it pretty regularly. This is not a great pic but it should give you the general idea

If you do WANT to move the rear springs you could use the Ford Explorer 8.8 and not change the spring perchs and do the spring relocation kit to the frame. I did read(somewhere) that you could about bolt one in that way. I moved the spring mounts for the early a-body myself and kept the stock spring location. Then measure for rim width afterwards. You end up with a strong bbp rear end at modest low cost.

My speedometer is so far off 65 is really 55... I can't find 13" tires to get a good/correct reading .. I am using 175/80-13 on a 65 barracuda

Change the speedo gear. Take it out check and see what you have and buy a new gear.

There is a new SBP 17" alloy wheel for ~$170 ea. Search past posts over last year for info. I have a set of Cragars, slotted mags, and wire wheels for my 2 early A's, all 14" SBP. The wires are a bit strange, with a slotted adapter that bolts to the hub and the wheel uses a big center spinner cap. I need a wire spare since swapping the adapter on the highway to mount a steel wheel would be a bi*** since little room for a wrench.

Chrysler small bolt 14" x 5.5" steel wheel.
Go any bigger, and youll suck the life right out of that /6.
