65 rear defog? Rare?

I have aquired a rear defog for a 65 Barracuda. Was that a rare option?

I've never seen one but I know they exist.

I have the complete setup to the best of my knowledge. I really didn't even know they really existed before. Though, I am not an early A body expert. I know I could use it in my 73.

I found it listed in the accessory section of the parts book. The Barracuda does have a different part number than the Valiant and Dart and back in 1966 they cost $17.18. toolman

The one for the 65 mounts it the panel on the right side of the deck and The others mount in the package tray. They may be different as your book shows. I have seen them on Ebay in the past.

Fairly rare. I have a couple and have seen a couple others through the years. The system is the same as other models except for the vent plenum which is unique for the '64-6 Barracuda.

Is anybody wanting to sell one of these 65 barracuda rear window defrosters. I would need everything including the dash switch and wiring if possible.
