65 Valient grill

Anyone know if a 65 Valient grill will work on a 66?

No.
The '64 and '65 can fit either car but the grille for a 1966 is unique to that model year.

whole front clip would work but the hoods are different too. One (ugly) year only...sorry. Looked too much like Falcons.

Let me just register my personal preference for the one-year-only 66 Valiant/Cuda styling. Smoothed out and proportioned nicely without all the fussy doo-dads of the earlier years. Though I do like them all, have a 65 Cuda to this day... To each their own!

66 was definitely a transition year, changing to a squarish front with still-round butt, kind of like a tadpole morphing into a frog. Underneath, it was still an early-A, though already made a few changes like going to the sliding-yoke driveshaft and moving the windshield wiper motor to the engine bay, which required a 3rd bulkhead connector.
