Recently lost 3 and rev in my 904. I have a mildly built360 with 727 trans and stall converter. Lookin for advice opinions anything . As it sits motors good sounds good interior perfect still has bin card on fender well. So do I try to fit 360 in or put in new 904 trans in ill post pics
 
According to your description; just stop by a transmission shop and have it redone, swing it in and your ready to go. Those unbeaten cars are hard to find Any pics?
 

727 does not fit without hammer or cutting the tunnel. Probably fix what you have, and decide on the engine when you are ready.
 
Unless you're willing to do the changeover now, I'd just build the existing 904. As was stated above, it's a bit of work to swap in the 360/727.....it's not just a bolt-in.
 
How hard is it to rebuild a 904 and does anyone have a manual. Any recommendation on rebuild kits I was thinkin tci master rebuild kit. Id love any in put
