???67-69 Barracuda notch back body parts same as a convertible???

hey everyone,

i have a 67 Barracuda conv and i am in need of many, many parts (basically an entire car). i have found a local seller of a notch back and i am not sure if the body is the same..??? door glass, rear qtrs, etc. i realize most of the parts in the car models are interchangable but i am not sure of the rear area from conv to notch back. :dontknow:

i believe the fastback rear qtrs dont match but i am not sure of rear side windows....

please help...

The only glass that is the same is the windshield. The gasket for it is different in the vert. The vert rear regulators are different ( and the easiest of all to work on ).

Only the trunk lid is the same from the doors on back, and the bumper and trim and stuff like that. I believe even the doors are different, but not completely sure about that. Front is all the same, as well as some of the interior parts. A-pillars are different and rear panels and rear seat of course, but fronts are the same. Dash is all the same, kick panels are the same. As others have said the glass is a vert only thing. You will be able to use sheet metal though. That is what i did with mine. I bought a solid notch and went crazy with the plazma. Most all of the quarters can be used until you get close to where it curves up to the top area. Whith careful measuring and a flanging tool you could completely replace the entire vert quarter with the notch. The flanging tool would be used to recreate the lip that goes around the top well. Inner wheel wells can be used if you can salvage the hat they put on top of the vert ones to make room for the top. Outer skin for the rockers can be used. I didn't cut the rockers on mine but it has been mentioned before the verts have extra metal in them to stiffen the car up. A solid notch will get you along way in to putting your car back together. Doors differ in that they have the brass block wedge to help line to door up when it closes.
